YouTube Script: Debunking the Continuum.
Notes: This is a script for a YouTube style video. I'm currently looking for a narrator. If I find one, I'll post the results to my various web-spaces, including here. However, I've been looking for someone to collaborate on a YouTube channel for a long time, so who knows if it will actually happen. The Purpose of this video is to present an argument against using the irrational numbers to support the current traditional notion of a continuum. I will do this by demonstrating that there cannot be more irrational numbers than there are counting numbers. This will require Four steps. Step 1: is to identify an infinite set that I like to call the infinite numbers. This is simply a decimal point followed by an infinite number of decimal places, regardless of what number occupies those places. This includes every irrational number, but it also includes every finite decimal number that is followed by infinitely many zeros. As well as every decimal number created by repeating any finite
